City of Las Vegas – IT (open 2/10/10)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through August 2010 (PT or FT depending on classload)
Pay: to $15/hr

This position will assist the City of Las Vegas with the following tasks:

• Assist with developing and documenting the process for web analytics reporting.
• Assist with mapping and reporting of services provided within the City of Las Vegas.
• Assist with creating collaborative online working environment using Microsoft SharePoint.
• Assist with the City’s performance management reporting program.
• Provide assistance with documenting, testing and developing new technology related tasks.

Candidate should have an understanding of relational databases, how to use Microsoft Office tools, and be motivated to learn new concepts of delivering technology related solutions.  Work will be conducted in a fast paced, customer service oriented environment.  Ability to work well with others is required.

 

FalconTechnologies – HIMS (Healthcare Information Mnmt Society) (open 2/10/10)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Through August 2010 (10-20 hours/week)
Pay: $10-$15/hr

This position will assist the Las Vegas HIMS organization to organize monthly membership program meetings and keeping their website updated and current.  You will meet and interact with local healthcare professionals and have opportunities to learn about Healthcare Information Systems and the current issues facing healthcare professionals, focusing on IT and it’s application in the industry.

The intern-student will primarily work remotely (from home) with contact and meetings with the HIMS leadership to set direction.
