Hospitality Informatics

Hospitality Informatics involves cognate courses from the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at UNLV. Choose one of the following clusters:

Casino and Gaming Cognate - Undergraduate

Hotel Management Cognate - Undergraduate

Food & Beverage Cognate - Undergraduate

Hospitality Cognate - Graduate

Year 1 cognate courses:

Year 2 cognate courses:

The Master's Project would then involve the integration of one of the Hospitality Research Seminars in the last course cluster above with the Informatics Project.

This degree would prepare someone for a career in the information technology side of hotel administration such as a supervisor of the telecommunications system or IT infrastructure, hotel finance, hotel media manager or Web designer, hotel information officer, IT manager, or career paths to Chief Security Officer or Chief Information Officer, to name but a few.
