Bio» Tim Frawley
Tim Frawley is Vice President and CTO of Information Technology for MGM MIRAGE. In this capacity, he leads MGM MIRAGE's corporate Information Technology CTO departments, which encompasses Services and Support, Infrastructure Services and Engineering, Enterprise Data and Quality Management and Enterprise Management. As Vice President for these departments, he is responsible for the day-to-day availability of all the properties' applications, monitoring the systems for proactive problem resolution, support of property IT business related equipment, selection and installation of technology, data center management and data quality.
Tim originally joined the company in 1983 and served in several Information Technology positions. He left in 1992 to serve as Vice President of RTW Inc., a growing computer sales and maintenance company expanding in Nevada. During his time with RTW, he made the Nevada office more profitable then the home office in Arizona. He returned to the company in 1994 as Applications Systems Manager. In this role, he managed the development staff and met with an executive committee to prioritize and receive approval on what the staff was to produce. He left the company in 1995 as part of a reduction in force, but was re-hired shortly after to assist with the construction and opening of Bellagio and Beau Rivage.
During Tim's employment with the company, he has taken on major roles in the enhancements to the properties and was a key part of the management team for the opening of six properties. He was instrumental in creating the centralized Information Technology department as the company grew. During the centralization, he was able to get the Support Center certified by the Help Desk Institute.
Prior to joining the company, Tim was Assistant Vice President of Data Processing for Valley Bank of Nevada. His responsibilities included monitoring the online environment and overseeing the updating to all customer accounts from the branch activity through the processing of bank applications. Before Valley Bank of Nevada, Tim served as Programmer Analyst for Second National Bank in Saginaw, Michigan.
