
As the Manager of the Program Office for the City Manager's Office at the City of Las Vegas, Ms. Dues is responsible for the implementation of all technology projects for the City, in addition to projects that are high visibility and elevated in importance by the City Manager.
Ms. Dues earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from University of Washington, Seattle and an MBA from the University of Phoenix (UOP). She has been a project manager for over 15 years and received her Project Man-agement Professional (PMP) certification in 2005. Ms. Dues also teaches for UOP and facilitates un-dergraduate and graduate-level classes in project management and information technology. Ms. Dues is working on her doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership and Management of Information Sys-tems and Technology.
She has served on the board of directors for the international Oracle Applica-tions Users Group (OAUG) since 2001, and as the organization's president for three years. In 2008 Ms. Dues received the Emerging Public Administrator of the Year award from the American Society of Public Administrators.
