
Jack Braman has served in the Gaming and Hospitality industry for over 33 years. For all but six years, he held positions as CIO or VP of Technology with the responsibilities of directing all strategic and tactical technology activities, and infrastructure design for properties worldwide.
Mr. Braman entered the industry after graduating from Arizona State University with double majors in Finance and Computer Technology.
In 1976, Mr. Braman joined Caesars World as a software developer for the sole purpose of developing the hospitality industry's first property management system using intelligent workstations and distributed server farms. In 1978, Mr. Braman began his nineteen year tenor with Hilton Hotels Corporation. During his initial years with Hilton Hotels, he served the Managed and Owned Division of Hilton. His efforts coordinated the deployment of Hilton's first fully automated financial and property management systems.
Later in 1982, he transferred to the Hilton's Gaming Division where he was promoted to Vice President, overseeing all gaming technology initiatives in the United States, Canada, Australia, Turkey, and Uruguay. In 1997, he joined the Las Vegas Sands as CIO where he was able to actively participate in building the organization into a major player in the Gaming Sector. This included playing a major role in helping with the transformation of the Macau market into a Gaming Resort Convention destination.
Mr. Braman has had the opportunity to participate in the construction and/or operations of over 70 domestic and international resorts and riverboats. Just to name a few: Venetian Las Vegas; Sands Macau; Venetian Macau; Conrad Jupiters in Gold Coast - Australia; Conrad Treasury in Brisbane - Australia; Conrad Punte del Este Resort and Casino in Uruguay; Flamingo Las Vegas; Las Vegas Hilton; and Caesars Palace.
Through the years Mr. Braman has served on numerous advising boards, such as, HTNG, Gaming and Leisure magazine, and UNLV's Business and Computer Science colleges.
